Philadelphia Flyers Legends and Stars 2026 Advent Calendar

The front of this box is a team photo in Christmas lights: players in orange home jerseys, the Flyers logo in the middle, the Philadelphia skyline behind them and the arena glowing in the snow. Inside, the 24 windows mix player figures with the gear and landmarks of Flyers hockey.

Numbers the Flyers Keep in the Rafters

The Flyers have retired six numbers, and each one is a story fans can tell from memory. Bernie Parent’s 1 belongs to the goalie who won the Conn Smythe Trophy in both Stanley Cup runs, 1974 and 1975. Bobby Clarke’s 16 was worn by the captain who lifted both Cups. Bill Barber’s 7, Mark Howe’s 2 and Barry Ashbee’s 4 hang beside them, and Eric Lindros’s 88 went up in 2018, two years after he entered the Hall of Fame.

That mix of old heroes and current names is what a “Legends and Stars” calendar is about. The player figures here wear jersey numbers on orange sweaters, so every morning becomes a small argument at the breakfast table about who is who.

The Building on the Box

The arena on the box art carries its old Wells Fargo Center sign. After the naming deal ended, the building became Xfinity Mobile Arena in September 2025, with a new arena planned for the early 2030s. For many fans the box captures a name they grew up saying, from 2010 to 2025. Gritty, the orange mascot who arrived in 2018 and became famous far beyond hockey, has a window of his own.

Design Groups

• Player figures: eight skaters in orange home jerseys with sticks and numbers on the chest.
• Game gear: a black goalie helmet, a puck, an orange jersey, a striped beanie, a scarf and a team duffel bag.
• Arena day: a model of the arena, a foam finger, a logo stand, a pennant and a team mug.
• Spirit: Gritty, a cheerleader with pom-poms and a silver Stanley Cup.

The pieces are flat acrylic ornaments with the artwork printed on both sides; the 3D look comes from the renders. Our photo numbers the designs from 1 to 24 so you can see everything at once, but the windows are not packed in that order.
