Mistslayers Demon Slayer Tanjiro Water Breathing Mist Figure 2026

Tanjiro Kamado is caught at the start of a strike: knees bent, both hands on the hilt above his right shoulder, eyes locked forward. A ribbon of white water pours off the blade, loops behind his back and crashes into a ring of waves around his feet. It is Water Breathing turned into a single sculpted moment.

Where Water Breathing Began

Early in the story, Tanjiro spends two years training under the retired swordsman Sakonji Urokodaki on Mount Sagiri, a mountain wrapped in fog where the thin air makes every run harder. The name Sagiri itself contains the character for mist. That is where he learns Water Breathing, a style whose forms move like water: the flowing First Form, Water Surface Slash, and the turning Second Form, Water Wheel, among them. It carries him through the early arcs before he turns to his family’s Hinokami Kagura.

A figure that pairs Tanjiro with mist and water is pointing straight back to those first chapters, the part of the story where a boy with a wooden sword becomes a Demon Slayer.

Why Tanjiro Feels Big Right Now

The series has never been more popular in North America. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle opened in US cinemas in September 2025 with about $70 million, the biggest debut ever for an anime film there, and went on to become the highest-grossing anime film worldwide. Two more Infinity Castle films are planned to finish the story, so fans are revisiting where it all started.

What the Figure Shows

• Tanjiro’s look: burgundy hair, the scar on his forehead and his black Demon Slayer Corps uniform, shown here without the green-and-black checked haori.
• Details: a red belt at the waist, white leg wraps and black shoes planted in a wide stance.
• The sword: a black-hilted katana raised two-handed, with the water effect rising from the blade.
• The base: a round black stand with white waves rolling all the way around it.

Displaying It

The wave sweeps out on both sides of Tanjiro, so give it a little room on the shelf rather than squeezing it between other figures. It reads best at eye level, where you can see the water loop behind his shoulders and the scar on his forehead. A plain wall behind it lets the white effect stand out.

Questions Collectors Ask

Does Tanjiro wear his checked haori on this figure?

No. He is sculpted in the plain black Corps uniform, which keeps the focus on the white water effect.

Which part of the story does it reflect?

Water Breathing is the style Tanjiro trains in on Mount Sagiri and uses through the early arcs, so the figure fits any Demon Slayer shelf.

Is it a good gift for an anime fan?

Yes. It is a single, clear character piece that stands on its own without needing a full collection around it.
