Los Angeles Rams 89th Anniversary 2026 Advent Calendar Box

The Rams began in Cleveland in 1937, moved to Los Angeles in 1946, spent two decades in St. Louis, and came back west in 2016. Along the way they did something no other franchise has: won a championship for two different cities. Eighty-nine years is a long enough run to have been somebody else’s team twice over.

Four Cities, One Name

Anniversary merchandise usually counts from the day a city got its team. This one counts from the day the team existed at all, which is the honest way to do it for a club whose history is spread across a map. The fans who waited out the St. Louis years are the reason the number reads eighty-nine and not ten.

What the Box Holds

Twenty-four acrylic ornaments, 3.2 cm square, one to a compartment in a moulded plastic tray. Both faces carry print — matte and gloss — and the tab comes punched through the acrylic. One side ships under a film that peels away before hanging.

Outside that: a paper box at 13.5 x 18 x 3 cm, 135 g, dotted die-cut lines marking out every window.

Where It Lives for a Month

Royal blue and gold hold their character under warm indoor light rather than washing out, so a lamp-lit shelf suits this better than a bright window. Wherever it goes, keep it dry — paper and acrylic both suffer in humidity.

Other anniversary sets are gathered in our NFL line-up.

Keeping the Pieces Clear

A dry, soft cloth and nothing else. Damp cleaning hazes acrylic permanently and takes the edge off the print first. Come January the tray does the storing — slotted back in, the tabs stay straight and the faces never rub against each other.

Common Questions About the Set

Why eighty-nine?

It counts from the club’s first season in 1937, back when it played in Cleveland. The name has travelled further than most.

Do the pieces share one design?

They are built from a common palette so the finished set looks deliberate, with the artwork changing from piece to piece across the twenty-four.

Is the box reusable next year?

The doors open once, so the calendar itself runs a single December. The ornaments and the tray are what carry over.

How heavy is one ornament?

A few grams. A branch that would bend under a glass bauble takes several of these without moving.
