Game of Thrones 2026 Advent Calendar

Winter Is Coming, One Door at a Time

The Game of Thrones 2026 Advent Calendar looks like a leather-bound tome from the Citadel: a black box with gold corner filigree, Game of Thrones in the show’s gold lettering, and the Iron Throne drawn in fine gold lines at the centre above Advent Calendar 2026. It is the kind of box that sits comfortably on a bookshelf next to the novels.

Fifteen Years of Westeros

HBO premiered Game of Thrones on April 17, 2011, and for eight seasons Sunday nights belonged to the Starks, Lannisters and Targaryens. In 2026 the world kept growing: A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, following the hedge knight Dunk and his squire Egg, arrived in January, and House of the Dragon returned for its third season in June.

Behind both shows sit George R.R. Martin’s books: A Game of Thrones was published in 1996, and the Dunk and Egg stories began with The Hedge Knight in 1998. For long-time fans that makes this an anniversary year as well as a busy one. “Winter is coming” was always a December line, and a countdown that ends on Christmas Eve gives every house its moment, from the Stark direwolf to the Targaryen dragon.

Houses and Icons in the Set

• Great houses: banners and medallions for Stark, Lannister, Targaryen and Baratheon, including Fire and Blood and Winter Is Coming.
• Creatures: dragons, a dragon egg, a direwolf, a lion, a stag and a raven.
• Relics: the Iron Throne, a crown, a goblet, a dagger and the Hand of the King pin.

We photographed the collection laid out together; that layout is a preview of the set, not the order of the doors.

Calendar Specifications

• Box: paper calendar measuring 18 by 13.5 by 3 cm and roughly 135 grams, with 24 die-cut doors over a moulded tray.
• Ornaments: 24 acrylic pieces of 3.2 by 3.2 cm, each with a hanging tab; one face is matte, the other glossy.
• Care: peel away the clear film and dust with a dry cloth before hanging.

Questions From the Realm

Which houses are represented?

Stark, Lannister, Targaryen and Baratheon sigils all appear across the set, alongside the Iron Throne and the dragons.

Is it suitable for a fan who only watched House of the Dragon?

Yes. The Targaryen dragons, eggs and Fire and Blood banner are as much a part of that show as of the original series.

Where does it look best?

On a dark bookshelf or mantel, where the black box and gold lettering stand out beside candles and greenery.
