Formula 1 Racing 2026 Advent Calendar

Lights Out on the December Countdown

The Formula 1 Racing 2026 Advent Calendar shows a single-seater blasting down a floodlit straight past a grandstand dusted in snow, with a Christmas tree at the trackside, the red F1 logo in the corner and a checkered flag waving across the top. Turn it over and 24 numbered doors line up like a starting grid in red and white.

Why 2026 Feels Different

2026 is the biggest rules reset Formula 1 has seen in years. New power units split their output far more evenly between combustion engine and electric motor, the cars are smaller and use active aerodynamics, and the grid grew to eleven teams with Cadillac joining as a brand-new American entry and putting two race-winning veterans, Sergio Pérez and Valtteri Bottas, in its cars. Every team started the season with a blank sheet, which is why fans have spent the year arguing about who got it right.

The calendar lines up neatly with the end of that story. Qatar hosts the penultimate round on November 29, and the season closes under the lights at Yas Marina in Abu Dhabi on December 6, so the first week of doors lines up with the final race weekend of the year. After that, the ornaments carry the season into Christmas.

What Fans Will Spot

• Grid: team-coloured cars and helmets in the colours of the front-running squads.
• Pit lane: a wheel gun, headset, stopwatch, steering wheel, tyre and a Pit Lane Christmas Mode sign.
• Paddock: a cap, gloves, race boots, a paddock pass and a trophy.

The numbered spread in our photos shows the full collection together; it is not a guide to what sits behind each door.

Calendar Specifications

• Box: printed paper box of 18 by 13.5 by 3 cm, about 135 grams, holding a moulded tray behind 24 die-cut doors.
• Ornaments: 24 acrylic pieces of 3.2 by 3.2 cm, each with a hanging tab and a matte face and a glossy face.
• Before hanging: remove the clear film and give each piece a quick polish with a dry, soft cloth.
