Buffalo Bills 66th Anniversary 2026 Advent Calendar

Buffalo is the smallest market in the league and has been for most of its sixty-six seasons. It is also the place where people queue in a blizzard to shovel snow out of the stadium so a game can be played. The relationship between that city and that team is not a marketing line — it is the reason a countdown box with a bison on it sells at all.

Sixty-Six Winters

December in Orchard Park is its own institution — lake-effect snow coming off Erie, a crowd that turns up anyway, and games that look unplayable on television. A calendar that runs through exactly those weeks is better matched to this club than to almost any other in the league.

What Is Inside

Twenty-four acrylic ornaments held in a moulded plastic tray, each 3.2 cm square with a tab punched through the material rather than glued on. Both faces are printed — matte on one, gloss on the other — and one side arrives under a protective film.

The outer box is paper at 13.5 x 18 x 3 cm, 135 g, with die-cut dotted lines around every window so the doors open cleanly one at a time.

Where It Sits

Somewhere the household passes every morning — the kitchen counter, the hall, the shelf where the keys land. Keep it indoors: paper and acrylic both object to damp, and a porch in Western New York in December is the worst possible posting.

The rest of the 2026 calendars are in our team collection.

Keeping the Ornaments Clear

Dry cloth only. Acrylic takes fingerprints readily and gives them up easily, but anything wet or abrasive leaves a permanent haze. Back into the tray when the month ends and the set comes out unmarked next year.

Questions Buyers Ask

What does the sixty-six count from?

The club’s first season in 1960. Sixty-six seasons in the same city, which is rarer in this league than it sounds.

Are the ornaments tough enough for children to hang?

Flat acrylic will not shatter and the tab is punched rather than glued, so there is no weak join. They are small parts, so keep them above reach for toddlers.

Can I use it as a table decoration instead?

It stands upright on its own at 3 cm deep, so it works as a centrepiece with the ornaments laid out beside it as they accumulate.

What happens to the box afterwards?

The doors do not close again, so it has done its job by Christmas Eve. Keep it as the storage case for the ornaments rather than throwing it out — the tray inside is the useful part.
