Kidrobot Diet Coke Collaboration Resin Dunny Art Figure

The Kidrobot Diet Coke Collaboration Resin Dunny Art Figure takes the Dunny platform and pours a soft drink into it. The body is translucent red resin with bubbles caught mid-rise through the arms, legs and torso; a silver band wraps the head and carries the Diet Coke script in red.

The ears are the part that makes it: instead of the usual rabbit shape, two glass-green bottles rise from the head, one labelled, one plain. The underside of the feet is stamped Kidrobot and © The Coca-Cola Company.

What a Dunny is

Kidrobot introduced the Dunny in 2004 as a blank canvas: one fixed silhouette, handed to artist after artist to repaint and resculpt. The shape stays constant, which is exactly what makes each treatment legible against the last.

Here the canvas is given over to Diet Coke, and the treatment is literal rather than graphic — the figure is not painted to look like a drink, it is cast as one, with the fizz suspended inside the resin.

Care and display

Keep it indoors and out of direct sunlight, and dust it with a soft dry cloth. Translucent resin shows fingerprints, so handle it by the body rather than the bottle ears.
