Fender 80th Anniversary Holiday Advent Calendar 2026

Eighty Years of Tone

The red anniversary box beside the 24 guitar designs, from sunburst Strats to plaid holiday finishes.

The Fender 80th Anniversary Holiday Advent Calendar 2026 is a warm, red-and-gold box built around one guitar. A red Stratocaster leans into a Christmas wreath with a big red bow, and a gold plate reads “Fender 1946–2026”. Behind it, a red pickup truck with the Fender script sits in the snow outside a log cabin with a sign that says “Music travels further together”. Down the spine run the lines “Music makes the holidays brighter” and “Play more, be kind, stay inspired”.

Why 1946 Matters

The front cover next to the 24 numbered drawers.

Leo Fender founded the Fender Electric Instrument Company in Fullerton, California, in 1946. Within a few years he had changed popular music twice. The solid-body Telecaster, first sold as the Broadcaster in 1950, gave country and rock players a bright, cutting sound. The Precision Bass followed in 1951, and the Stratocaster arrived in 1954 with its contoured body and three pickups.

From Buddy Holly and Jimi Hendrix to Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughan, those shapes are part of how a guitar looks to most of the world. This calendar celebrates that history the simple way: one guitar a day, in all the finishes players love.

What’s Inside

Four of the guitar designs in hand: red, black, butterscotch and blue.

Design groups include classic Stratocaster and Telecaster finishes, a few bass shapes, and holiday versions in plaid, candy-cane stripes, Christmas lights and gold anniversary paint. Each design is printed on a flat acrylic ornament, and the lineup in our photos is a preview of the set rather than the order behind the doors.
