Curling Rocks 2026 Advent Calendar

A curling countdown in navy and gold

Twenty-four acrylic curling ornaments behind numbered windows, in a box measuring 13.5 x 18 x 3 cm. The stones are printed in red, blue, yellow, black and clear finishes, so the set builds into a mixed group rather than 24 of the same piece.

The artwork

• Navy blue and gold box with large cream lettering and a red ribbon banner.
• Snowy mountain scenery tying the sport to winter competition.
• A curling stone illustration on the front panel.
• Ornament motifs covering maple leaves, snowflakes, mountains, plaid and targets.

Materials and measurements

• Paper outer box with a moulded plastic inner tray.
• 24 acrylic (mica) ornaments, one behind each numbered window.
• Box: 13.5 x 18 x 3 cm, 135 g.
• Each ornament: 3.2 x 3.2 cm, with a perforated hanging tab.
• Double-sided print: one matte face, one glossy face.
• Die-cut dotted lines on every window.

Peel the protective film off the glossy face before hanging an ornament, or the print reads cloudy. Wipe with a soft dry cloth; do not soak them.

A note on the house colors

The red, blue, yellow and black finishes are the standard handle colors used to tell teams apart on the sheet. If you are hanging these as a group, sorting by handle color reads correctly to anyone who plays; mixing them at random does not.

Questions about this calendar

Are the ornaments ready to hang?

Almost. Each has a perforated tab fitted, but peel the protective film off the glossy face first.

Can the box be used again next year?

No. The windows tear along die-cut lines, so the front panel is spent after one countdown. The 24 ornaments are what you keep.

How small are they really?

3.2 cm square, which is roughly a large postage stamp. They suit a tabletop tree, a garland or a shelf lip better than a full-size tree, where they disappear.

Is this connected to a specific tournament or team?

No. The artwork uses general curling and winter imagery rather than any championship, club or national side.
