Bravo Six Going Dark Skull Balaclava Zip Up Hoodie

Few lines in gaming carry as much atmosphere as “Bravo Six, going dark.” This zip-up hoodie is built around it. The body is a washed charcoal black with a faded, worn-in look, the hood includes a balaclava-style face covering printed with a white skull, and the back shows a large circular emblem: a skull wearing four-lens night-vision goggles, with BRAVO SIX above and GOING DARK below.

Front with the skull mask up, and the Bravo Six emblem on the back.

Where the Line Comes From

“Bravo Six, going dark” is Captain John Price’s radio call in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019), spoken as his team switches to night vision and the lights go out before a raid. The moment spread far beyond the game and became shorthand for switching off, disappearing or getting serious. The skull face covering has its own history in the series: the skull balaclava worn by Simon “Ghost” Riley is one of the most recognisable looks in modern military shooters.

For players who grew up in lobbies and late-night squads, the phrase and the mask mean the same thing: it’s time to focus.

Modern Warfare arrived in October 2019 as a reboot of the series’ most loved sub-series, and its campaign leaned into quiet, tense missions instead of non-stop explosions. The night-vision raid where Price gives that order became one of the most replayed and most shared sequences of the game, the kind of moment players still clip and quote years later. Wearing the line on your back is a nod only fellow players will fully get, and that is exactly the point.

• Finish: a washed, slightly distressed charcoal that gives the hoodie a field-worn feel.

Where It Fits

Wear it to a LAN night, a gaming convention, a winter walk, or as a costume layer for Halloween. With the hood down it reads as a dark, rugged zip-up; with the hood up it turns heads. It also makes a strong gift for a Call of Duty fan who still has Modern Warfare on their hard drive.

Wash it cold and inside out, and hang it to dry to keep the washed finish and prints looking right.
