Yujiro Hanma Baki The Grappler Hanger Figure

The Strongest Creature on Earth, Holding Your Laundry

Yujiro Hanma does not do anything halfway, and the Yujiro Hanma Baki The Grappler Hanger Figure proves it. A hook at the top of his head lets him hang from a clothes rail, towel bar or stand. Below, he locks into a perfect horizontal split, and those legs become a bar for whatever you want to hang.

In our photos he holds tank tops in white and black, and the joke lands every time: the most feared fighter in the series, stuck guarding your gym shirts with his arms folded.

Why Yujiro, Why This Pose

Keisuke Itagaki’s *Baki the Grappler* began in Weekly Shōnen Champion in 1991. From the start, the whole story bends toward one man: Baki’s father, Yujiro, known as the Ogre and called the strongest creature on Earth. He has mastered every form of unarmed combat, and he never looks impressed by anyone.

That attitude is the whole design. Crossed arms, a heavy frown, wild red hair, and a body sculpted with every muscle exaggerated the way Itagaki draws them. The split adds a touch of absurdity that longtime fans will appreciate, because the series has never been shy about showing off impossible physiques.

The story has now run for more than three decades, through sequels from *Grappler Baki* to *Baki Hanma*, and Netflix’s anime series introduced Yujiro to a new generation. Fans who started with the manga in the 1990s and fans who found him on streaming share the same joke: nobody tells the Ogre what to do, except maybe your closet.

What You See on the Figure

• Pose: A full horizontal split with arms crossed over the chest.
• Sculpt: Deep muscle definition across the chest, shoulders, back and legs, with Yujiro’s spiky red hair.
• Outfit: Black briefs, in keeping with how the series loves to show off its fighters.
• Hook: A curved black hook rises from the top of the head, so the figure hangs from a rail or stand.
• Back view: The back is fully sculpted too, so he looks good from behind as he hangs on a rail.

Where He Works Best

Hang him in a closet, on a bedroom rail, by a home gym or on a towel bar in a games room. He suits light pieces such as tank tops, T-shirts, a scarf or a small towel. Heavy coats are better left on an ordinary hanger.

When he is off duty, he still earns his place. Hung on a stand beside a manga shelf, he works as a display piece with a sense of humor.

Questions From Baki Fans

What can I hang on it?

Light garments, like the tank tops in our photos, sit well across the legs. Keep heavy jackets and wet towels on a sturdier hanger.

How do I keep it looking good?

Dust it with a soft, dry cloth, keep it out of direct sunlight and lift it by the hook and body rather than by one leg.

Is it a good gift?

For anyone who has watched Baki, it is an instant laugh. It also makes a strong addition to a gym, dorm room or anime collection.
