Philadelphia Flyers 2026 Christmas Advent Calendar

Philly at Christmas

The Philadelphia Flyers 2026 Christmas Advent Calendar is painted in black, orange and white. The winged P logo sits at the top, “Philadelphia Flyers Christmas Advent Calendar 2026” follows in bold letters, and below it the city glows at dusk. The Rocky statue raises both fists in the snow, skaters circle an outdoor rink beside a Christmas tree, and City Hall’s clock tower rises over the skyline. The spine reads “24 Days of Flyers Surprises”.

Sixty Years of Orange and Black

The Flyers joined the NHL in the 1967 expansion, and the 2026–27 season is their 60th. Founder Ed Snider built a club that won back-to-back Stanley Cups in 1974 and 1975, when the hard-hitting “Broad Street Bullies” made Philadelphia the first expansion team to lift the Cup. The team is honouring that history all season long with anniversary nights and a game dedicated to Snider’s legacy.

Philadelphia fans are among the loudest and most loyal in hockey. The club’s home has always been on South Broad Street, first at the Spectrum and now at the arena next door, and the “Broad Street Bullies” nickname still follows the team six decades on. Orange-and-black Christmas jumpers and Gritty hats are a familiar sight at December home games.

Then there is Gritty. The shaggy orange mascot debuted in September 2018, was mocked for about a day and then became one of the most loved characters in sports. Design groups in this set include Gritty, a Flyers skater, the Stanley Cup, a jersey, a goalie mask, a skate, a Zamboni, a stick, a snow globe, a Liberty Bell, a beanie, a snowman and wrapped gifts.
