North Pole Christmas 2026 Advent Calendar

A Village That Grows One Window at a Time

The North Pole Christmas 2026 Advent Calendar turns the countdown into a small act of building. Each morning another part of Santa’s village comes out of the box: a reindeer, an elf with an armful of presents, a nutcracker, a lamppost wrapped in garland. By Christmas Eve the whole town is hanging on your tree.

The box sets the scene before the first window opens. Gold lettering reads “Magical North Pole Village” above a snowy valley of timber houses, a stone bridge over a frozen stream and Santa’s sleigh crossing the moon.

An Old Tradition in a Small Box

Miniature Christmas villages have a long history. When Moravian settlers founded Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, on Christmas Eve 1741, they brought the custom of the putz with them: a scene of tiny figures, moss and twigs set out under the tree. The name comes from the German *putzen*, to decorate, and families once went “putzing” from house to house to admire each other’s scenes.

This calendar keeps that spirit in a form that fits a modern December. Instead of building the whole scene in one evening, you add a piece each day and watch the village take shape.

Who Lives in This Village

The designs fall into a few happy groups. There are the residents: Santa with his sack, a snowman in a top hat, carolers with songbooks, a teddy bear in a Santa hat and a penguin on skates. There are the landmarks: a red Santa Mail post box, a clock tower, a toy shop with a striped awning, a candy cane arch and a signpost pointing to Santa’s Workshop, Elf Village and Candy Cane Lane. And there is the transport: the sleigh, a red-and-green toy train and a reindeer waiting by a lamppost.

Our photos lay the whole village out in rows so you can see it at once; they do not show what sits behind any particular window.

Box and Ornament Details

• Ornaments: 24 flat acrylic pieces, printed front and back, each with a hanging hole at the top.
• Box: Paper calendar box, about 26 × 18 × 3 cm, with 24 numbered windows.
• Inside: A clear plastic tray, about 25.3 × 17.5 × 3.5 cm, keeps each ornament in its own compartment.
• Hanging: Thread ribbon, string or a small hook through the hole to hang each piece.

Looking After the Set

Peel off any protective film before hanging. Wipe the ornaments with a soft, dry cloth, and slide them back into the tray after the holidays so the village is ready to rebuild next year.

Questions About the North Pole Village

Are the ornaments double-sided?

Yes. The design is printed on both faces, so a piece looks right from either side of the branch.

Will the set fit a small tree?

The pieces are small enough for a tabletop tree or a garland on a mantel. On a full-size tree, cluster them on one section to make a village scene.

Is it a good family calendar?

It works well when children take turns. One opens the window, another chooses the branch, and the whole family can see the village grow through December.
