Merrytease Funny Women Bikini Chest Ugly Christmas Sweater

Merrytease Funny Women Bikini Chest Ugly Christmas Sweater comes in two designs. The gingerbread version is cookie brown with white icing trim, a frosted bikini top with a peppermint centre and a sprinkle-dotted belt; the Santa version is bright red with fluffy white trim, a red-and-white striped top, a snowflake necklace and a silver-buckled white belt. Both print a sculpted faux tummy between the trims and scatter snowflakes across the sleeves.

The Ugly Sweater, Now a Holiday of Its Own

Ugly Christmas sweaters went from thrift-store joke to tradition, and they now have a date on the calendar: National Ugly Christmas Sweater Day falls on the third Friday of December, which in 2026 is December 18. Offices, schools and charities use it for contests and fundraisers, and the loudest sweater in the room usually takes the prize.

This design leans into that spirit with a trompe-l’oeil joke instead of reindeer and pom-poms. From across the room it reads as a swimsuit under a Christmas cardigan, which is exactly the double take a party sweater is meant to get.

Trompe-l’oeil knitwear has a surprisingly stylish history. In 1927 the designer Elsa Schiaparelli launched a black sweater with a white bow knitted into the front so that it looked tied at the neck, and the illusion made her name in Paris. Nearly a century later, the same trick is doing a sillier job at the office Christmas party.
