Kansas City Chiefs How ‘Bout Those Chiefs Hoodie

The Kansas City Chiefs How ‘Bout Those Chiefs Hoodie is a black pullover with a drawstring hood and a large kangaroo pocket. Across the chest, CHIEFS is built from horizontal stripes that fade from gold at the top to red at the bottom, with the arrowhead above and “Kansas City Football AFC West” in small white type beneath. The back reads “How ‘Bout Those CHIEFS” in gold script and arched block letters over the arrowhead, with NFL shields on the sleeves.

A Cheer Built for Arrowhead

Kansas City takes noise seriously. In 2014 the crowd at Arrowhead set a Guinness World Record for the loudest outdoor stadium roar at 142.2 decibels, and a home game there still feels like a sea of red that never sits down. The back of this hoodie is the kind of line that crowd repeats on the walk to the parking lot after a win.

It also carries four Super Bowl titles of pride, from Super Bowl IV through the back-to-back wins in February 2023 and February 2024. Black lets the red and gold stand out, so the hoodie works as well at a tailgate as it does at a Sunday watch party on the couch.

Game day in Kansas City starts before Sunday. Since 1992 the city has marked Red Friday before the home opener, when fountains are dyed red, flags go up on the Plaza and in Westport, and offices fill with Chiefs gear. A hoodie with a cheer on the back fits that week perfectly.

Materials and Construction

• Fabric: Polyester that feels soft and very light on the skin.
• Build: Long sleeves, drawstring hood and large front kangaroo pocket.
• Finishing: Pronounced sleeve cuffs, a prominent waistband hem, kangaroo pocket fringes, and taped neck and shoulders.
• Print: Dye-sublimation printing across the garment.
• Sizes: Small through 5XL, cut for women, men, girls and boys alike.
• Made to order: Every hoodie is sewn individually once you order, so allow 1 to 3 cm of variation. Bust is measured flat, 2 cm below the armpit.

Wash it in cold water and let it hang dry so the red and gold stay sharp. Skip chlorine bleach, and if it needs pressing, use a cool iron from the inside or send it to the dry cleaner. For more Chiefs gear, explore our collection.
