Garfield x Mercedes-Benz 2026 Christmas Advent Calendar

Garfield x Mercedes-Benz 2026 Christmas Advent Calendar shows Garfield and Odie in Santa hats leaning over the roof of a black G-Class, its round headlights glowing in front of a Mercedes-Benz showroom trimmed with lights. Alpine peaks, snowy pines and wrapped gifts surround them, the three-pointed star sits under the orange Garfield title, and the doors on the back are dusted with painted snow.

Two Icons That Never Changed Shape

Jim Davis’s comic strip first ran on June 19, 1978, and Garfield has barely changed since: he still loves lasagna, still hates Mondays and still treats Odie as a mild inconvenience. The G-Class earns a similar kind of loyalty. Developed with Steyr-Daimler-Puch, it went into series production in Graz, Austria, in February 1979, and its square silhouette is still recognisable from across a car park.

Behind the star stands the oldest name in motoring. Carl Benz’s patent for his Motorwagen, dated January 29, 1886, is widely seen as the birth certificate of the automobile, and the three points of the star stand for land, sea and air, the places Gottlieb Daimler hoped his engines would one day reach. The Benz and Daimler companies merged in 1926.

What the Collection Celebrates

• Garfield’s household: Garfield as Santa with a gift box, Odie in antlers, Arlene in a red dress, Nermal in a blue beanie and a teddy bear in a Mercedes hoodie.
• Road-trip friends: Garfield in a cap and puffer jacket, plus fans with coffee tumblers, a bearded traveller and a mechanic holding a wrench.
• Garage and holiday pieces: a black G-Class with gifts on the roof, a steering wheel, a toolbox, a lantern, a checkered cap, a mug, a pennant, a stocking, a wreath and a snow globe.

The photos lay all 24 pieces out in one frame for reference, not in the order the doors hide them.

Box and Ornament Details

• Calendar box: printed card, 13.5 cm across, 18 cm high and 3 cm deep, roughly 135 g, with 24 tear-open doors over a moulded insert.
• Keepsakes: 24 acrylic charms, 3.2 cm on each side, each with a punched loop for hanging.
• Print: artwork on both faces, one glossy and one matte; lift off the clear protective film before display.

Stand it beside a model car collection or on a desk where the G-Class artwork catches the light. For more gift ideas, view more products from League.
