Coca-Cola Christmas Polar Bears 2026 Advent Calendar

The front of this box looks like the opening of a holiday advert: two polar bears in red scarves sharing a bottle in the snow, a lit village behind them, and the red Coca-Cola truck rolling through with its lights on.

The Adverts That Started Christmas

For a lot of people, Christmas has a starting signal, and it is a Coca-Cola advert. The red-suited Santa that Haddon Sundblom painted for the company from 1931 shaped how much of the world pictures Santa today. The polar bears arrived in 1993, when animator Ken Stewart’s short “Northern Lights” showed them gathering to watch the aurora with a bottle of Coke; Stewart said the idea came from his Labrador puppy, who looked like a polar bear. A couple of years later the illuminated Christmas trucks rolled into the holiday adverts, and they have been part of the season ever since.

Coca-Cola itself was first served in Atlanta in 1886, so 2026 marks 140 years of the brand. That long history is why this calendar works as a gift: it is less about a soft drink and more about the memories attached to the adverts, the family TV evenings and the first sight of the truck each winter.

What Waits Behind the Windows

The 24 windows hide a mix of festive designs built around that story: the polar bears, Santa, the delivery trucks, classic bottles and a handful of holiday extras. Each one is a small ornament ready to hang. The numbered photo simply shows the set together; it is not the order you will open them in.

A Countdown the Whole House Can Share

This is a calendar that suits a family more than a collector. Children can take turns opening the windows each morning, and the pieces go straight onto the tree, so by Christmas Eve the branches carry a little of the advert everyone grew up with. It also makes an easy gift for grandparents, who often remember the Sundblom Santa long before the bears.

Collectors of Coca-Cola memorabilia will enjoy it too. It pairs naturally with vintage signs, trays and bottles, and the ornaments can come out again every December.
