Chicago Blackhawks Hometown Remix 2026 Jersey

The River Sets the Dress Code

Every year on the Saturday before St. Patrick’s Day, Chicago dyes its river a brilliant emerald green. The tradition started in 1962, when plumbers working on the river discovered that the dye they used to trace leaks turned the water bright green. It has become one of the most famous sights in the city.

When the NHL and Fanatics launched “Hometown Remix,” special-edition uniforms for all 32 teams in 2026–27, the Blackhawks teased theirs with a simple line: “The river sets the dress code.” This jersey brings that idea to life in Kelly green.

A Century of Blackhawks Hockey

The 2026–27 season is the Blackhawks’ 100th. The club joined the NHL in 1926 and is one of the league’s “Original Six.” It has won six Stanley Cups: in 1934, 1938 and 1961, then three in six seasons with the 2010, 2013 and 2015 teams of Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane. In 2023 Chicago drafted Connor Bedard first overall, and he won the Calder Trophy as rookie of the year.

The jersey folded in its shipping box, logo on top and green body framed by tissue.

Why Fans Personalize

A custom jersey lets you choose what goes on your back. Some fans put their own name. Others pick a family name, a lucky number or a tribute to a player they grew up watching. At the United Center, where fans cheer all the way through the national anthem, a name on the back says you’re part of it.

Ways to Wear It

1. To a home game, with a Blackhawks toque.
2. To the river on St. Patrick’s Day weekend.
3. To a watch party, so every “Chelsea Dagger” goal song finds you on your feet.
4. As a gift with a loved one’s name and birth year on the back.
