Chicago Bears Charlie Brown Christmas 2026 Collectible Bobblehead

A Founding Franchise Meets a Holiday Hero

The Bears are older than the NFL’s name. George Halas launched them as the Decatur Staleys in 1920, moved them to Chicago in 1921 and renamed them the Bears in 1922. They have won nine league championships, including Super Bowl XX after the 1985 season, when a defense led by Mike Singletary and a team that recorded “The Super Bowl Shuffle” took over the country.

Charlie Brown has his own long history. He has been the heart of Peanuts since the first strip in 1950. Put him in navy and orange for Christmas, and you get a figure that both histories can share.

Quick Look

Why Number 18

Number 18 belongs to Caleb Williams, the quarterback the Bears drafted first overall in 2024. For a fan base that has waited a long time for a franchise quarterback, the number carries a lot of hope. Charlie Brown, who never stops hoping, is the right character to wear it.

From behind: “Brown” and 18 on the jersey, with the flag and the tree on either side.

Christmas in Chicago

Chicago does the holidays with heart. The Christkindlmarket has filled Daley Plaza with German-style stalls, mulled wine and ornaments every winter since 1996. The lights go up on the Magnificent Mile, and Bears fans bundle up for late-season games at Soldier Field, where the wind off Lake Michigan is part of home-field advantage.

A snowy base, a little decorated tree and a boy in a Santa hat fit that December picture well.

A Rivalry Older Than Most Teams

The Bears and Packers have played each other more than two hundred times since 1921, the most-played rivalry in NFL history. Halas, the founder, coached the Bears for forty seasons. Walter Payton, “Sweetness,” ran for more yards than anyone in league history when he retired in 1987. Dick Butkus became the model for every middle linebacker who followed.

Those names are why so many Chicago families pass down their Bears loyalty like a family heirloom. A Christmas figure is a simple way to hand it to the next generation.

Ways to Give It

1. On the desk of the friend who still wears a Payton jersey on Sundays.
2. In a stocking for a kid watching their first season of Bears football.
3. On the mantel, next to the family’s Peanuts ornaments.
4. As an office gift for the coworker who talks about the 1985 team every week.

Under a desk lamp, the figure stands by its box, a laptop and a Bears mug.
