Bluey x Die-Cast Cars Christmas Advent Calendar 2026

Some shows win over kids and parents at the same time, and “Bluey” is the clearest example of the last decade. The Bluey x Die-Cast Cars Christmas Advent Calendar 2026 mixes the Heeler family with something kids never tire of, little cars, on a bright blue box covered in snowflakes, wreaths and paw prints.

Why Families Love Bluey

“Bluey” premiered on ABC Kids in Australia on October 1, 2018. Created by Joe Brumm and made by Ludo Studio in Brisbane, it follows Bluey, a six-year-old Blue Heeler puppy, her little sister Bingo and their parents Bandit and Chilli as they turn everyday moments into games. The episodes are short, funny and often surprisingly moving, and parents watch them with their kids rather than just putting them on.

The family is heading to cinemas next: a feature-length “Bluey” film, written and directed by Brumm, is set for release on August 6, 2027. That makes this Christmas a good one for starting a Bluey tradition with the little fan in the house.

The Car Side

The calendar pairs the Heelers with a garage full of characterful cars, drawn in the cartoon style kids know from animated racing films: big eyes in the windscreen, wide grins on the bumper. There are blue race cars with paw-print decals, pink and orange cars with bows, a fire engine, tow trucks and pickups carrying Christmas trees, all wrapped up in holiday colours.

What Is Inside

The front of the box reads “24 Character Die-Cast Cars Advent Calendar.” Inside, the designs come in a few families: race cars with Bluey paw prints, trucks and service vehicles with Christmas loads, and festive cars in Santa hats, bows and antlers. We lined every car up for the photos so you can see the full fleet; that line-up is not the order they come out of the windows.

What you unwrap each morning is a two-sided printed acrylic charm of the car, not a metal model. Choose at checkout:

• Standard: 3.2 × 3.2 cm charms; box 13.5 × 18 × 3 cm, about 135 g.
• Premium: larger charms, 4.3 cm square or 4 × 5 cm; box 28 × 19 × 5 cm.
• Display: charms with a loop hole for ribbon, or charms that sit in a little standing base.

Strip the clear protective film off each face before hanging.

A December Game, Bluey Style

Bluey would turn an advent calendar into a game, and so can you. Let your child open a window each morning, name each car, and decide together whether it goes on the tree or joins the line-up on the windowsill. Siblings can take turns, like Bluey and Bingo. By Christmas Eve the tree has a whole fleet of cars, and after the holidays the set packs flat into the box.

It makes a lovely gift from grandparents, a godparent or a family friend, and the stand version works on a nursery shelf where little hands can see but not grab.

Questions Parents Ask

Are these real die-cast cars?

What age is it for?

Preschool Bluey fans and up, with a grown-up helping the youngest ones; the charms are small, so they are not for babies or toddlers.

Is Bluey on the pieces?

The Heeler family appears on the box artwork, and the car designs carry Bluey colours and paw prints.

Which version is easier for small hands?

Premium charms are larger and easier for small children to hang and hold.
